I’ve finally managed to get a photo of the chipmunk! Well, kind of. I had just got home from work and there were two on the patio. One of them seemed to be trying to break into the window, but he had gone by the time I grabbed the camera out of my bag. It’s not a great photo as the autofocus got hold of the blinds, but it’s a start.
This morning I also saw a raccoon run along the side of the apartment as I left for work and with all the tame squirrels running around, it’s like living in a nature reserve.
Today we had some rain! It was nice as it had been so hot and humid since I’ve been here and, unlike the small shower on Sunday, it actually rained for a good few hours. There were a few cracks of thunder but nothing in terms if a storm.
I’m starting to run low on fuel in the car so I think I’ll have to fill up soon … I saw the price of a gallon at my local station has dropped to $2.65; I’m going to try and bring some home at that price!
